Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort celebrated the spirit of teamwork, wellness, and gratitude through its annual two-week event, Sofitelympic 2025. Organized by the hotel’s People and Culture department, the event brought together staff from all departments in a joyful celebration of unity, healthy competition, and appreciation.
Running from 13 to 24 October 2025, Sofitelympic transformed the resort’s lush grounds into a lively arena filled with sportsmanship and camaraderie. Employees from across departments – from Culinary and Food & Beverage to Front Office, Sales & Marketing, Housekeeping, Finance, and Security – set aside their daily roles to compete in a series of exciting tournaments designed to inspire teamwork and connection.
The activities spanned across both physical and digital arenas, featuring badminton, futsal, basketball, billiards, and table tennis tournaments, as well as an Esports Mobile Legends competition that added a modern twist to the festivities. Each match reflected the resort’s vibrant team culture – where laughter and friendly rivalry went hand in hand. Winners across the categories received cash prizes, with first place earning IDR 3,000,000, second place IDR 2,000,000, and third place IDR 1,000,000. The ultimate title of Overall Champion Team went to the Food & Beverage Department, who secured the highest accumulated points across all games and walked away with a trophy and a grand prize of IDR 5,000,000.
The celebration culminated in a high-spirited closing ceremony on Friday, 24 October, held at the resort’s scenic Gamelan Garden. The afternoon began with an energizing Zumba session led by Zin Ayol, followed by an evening of music, laughter, and cheer. The vibrant finale was headlined by DJ Berlin Bintang, who elevated the mood with upbeat tunes, bringing the entire Sofitel family together to dance, celebrate, and reflect on two weeks of shared joy.
