Bali welcomes a new kind of retail experience as PT Mitra Adiperkasa Tbk (MAP) officially launches Imaginaria by Digimap, a flagship Apple Premium Partner store set along Sunset Road. Spanning more than 3,300 square metres, the space is Digimap’s largest store in Indonesia to date, designed not simply as a place to shop, but as a destination where technology, design, and local culture intersect in a thoughtful and immersive way.
From the moment guests step inside, Imaginaria sets a distinct tone. At the heart of the atrium stands a stone engraving inscribed with the Balinese philosophy Sekala Niskala – the seen and the unseen – a symbolic welcome that reflects the store’s core idea of blending tradition with future-forward innovation. It is a subtle yet powerful gesture, grounding the sleek world of Apple technology within Bali’s spiritual and cultural context.
Inside, the experience unfolds as a curated journey through Apple’s ecosystem, from iPhone and iPad to Mac, Apple Watch, and AirPods. What sets Imaginaria apart is its emphasis on storytelling and creativity. Digital artworks created in collaboration with Indonesian designers are displayed throughout the space on iPads, surrounding visitors with expressions of local imagination interpreted through modern technology. A dedicated retail area also features Imaginaria-exclusive merchandise and souvenirs, available only at this flagship location.
Handaka Santosa, Director of PT Mitra Adiperkasa Tbk, highlighted that beyond offering the latest Apple products, the store brings together Apple-trained experts, after-sales services, and a platform that celebrates Indonesian creative talent, with the hope of contributing to a more elevated retail experience in Bali.
The commitment to local creativity is especially visible through the launch of exclusive merchandise under the tagline From Bali, for the Curious Mind. Created in collaboration with Indonesian artists such as Monez and Muklay, the collection draws inspiration from the Balinese philosophy of Rwa Bhineda, which speaks to harmony between humans, nature, and the cosmos. The result is a thoughtfully designed range of T-shirts, tote bags, AirPods cases, and accessories that feel both contemporary and rooted in place.
To mark its opening, Imaginaria by Digimap also introduces a series of limited-time benefits for customers, including special bank cashbacks, instalment offers, buy-now-pay-later options, and trade-in incentives.
