Some community events feel meaningful because they bring people together in motion, with the coastline as the shared backdrop and a cause at the center. This April, ROW for R.O.L.E 5.0 returns to Bali as an annual canoe race supporting Bali WISE, a program under the R.O.L.E. Foundation focused on vocational education and skills training for marginalized women.

The event takes place on Saturday, 25 April 2026, inviting participants to paddle a 13 km route along Bali’s shoreline, from Sanur (starting at Hyatt Regency Bali and Andaz Bali’s beach) to Nusa Dua (finishing at Grand Hyatt Bali’s beach). The race is open to different comfort levels, with categories including Single Division, Double Division, and Paddle Board Division, keeping the experience accessible while still offering a clear challenge for seasoned paddlers.
Beyond the race day, the program also includes a press conference on Friday, 10 April 2026, hosted at Hyatt Regency Bali from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, with time to learn more about the initiative and connect with the team. A separate online silent auction supports the same mission, featuring stays, dining, wellness treatments, and curated experiences. The auction closes on 25 April at 12:00 PM (Bali time), with bids placed online in USD.

Last year, the event raised IDR 881,105,895 (USD 58,740), and this year’s goal is to expand that impact through wider community participation.
