Hyatt Regency Bali and Andaz Bali Welcome New F&B Leaders to Sanur

Sanur is getting a fresh dose of culinary energy. Hyatt Regency Bali and Andaz Bali, by Hyatt have welcomed two new faces to their food and beverage leadership team, with Ivan Gutierrez appointed Cluster Director of Food & Beverage and Chef Vincenzo Gatti taking on the role of Cluster Executive Chef. Together, the duo brings decades of international hospitality experience and a shared passion for creating memorable guest experiences.

For Ivan, the new role is all about bringing people together. Arriving from Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok, where he served as Director of Food & Beverage, he has spent his Hyatt career working across destinations including Tokyo, Qingdao, Beijing, and Koh Samui. His approach to hospitality centers on genuine human connection, collaborative teams, and creating experiences that stay with guests long after they leave the table.

Joining him is Chef Vincenzo Gatti, whose culinary career spans more than two decades, including 10 years with Hyatt. After starting with Park Hyatt Guangzhou, Chef Vincenzo held senior culinary positions at Grand Hyatt Seoul, Hyatt Regency Hua Hin, and most recently Andaz Pattaya Jomtien Beach. In Pattaya, he led La Cucina Italian Restaurant and Fish Club Seafood Restaurant to Michelin Guide recognition in 2025, when the guide made its debut in the city.

Known for a collaborative approach in the kitchen, Chef Vincenzo is passionate about developing talent, encouraging creativity, and letting quality ingredients take center stage. His philosophy is rooted as much in the people behind the food as the dishes themselves—a fitting perspective for two resorts that are looking to build dining experiences around connection and discovery.

Together, the two leaders will take on complementary roles across Hyatt Regency Bali and Andaz Bali. Ivan will oversee the wider food and beverage strategy, operations, and service culture, while Chef Vincenzo will lead the culinary direction across both properties. Their arrival signals an exciting new phase for the resorts, with guests invited to look forward to experiences that bring together global expertise, local flavors, and the easygoing spirit of Sanur.
And really, what better place to explore the next chapter of hospitality than Sanur? With its slower pace, sunny seaside character, and growing food scene, the neighborhood feels like the perfect setting for two new culinary leaders to settle in, get creative, and give guests another reason to linger a little longer over their next meal.
