Kuta Raises a Glass: Four Points by Sheraton Bali Celebrates International Beer Day

Beer, bites and a little Balinese flair came together at Djaman Doeloe Bali as Four Points by Sheraton Bali, Kuta marked International Beer Day with an evening dedicated to local brews, community and good times.

Held on 24 August from 7pm to 10pm, the Beer Festival brought together hotel guests, beer enthusiasts and the local community for a lively night under the Kuta lights. At the center of the celebration was the hotel's Best Brews™ programme, spotlighting Breman Brewery and its signature Breman Terang lager.

Light, refreshing and effortlessly easy to drink, Breman Terang found its natural match in a spread of Indonesian comfort food, from grilled and snack platters to sweet treats and traditional nasi campur. The pairing kept things casual and convivial—the kind of evening where another cold one and another bite are always within reach.

The party also had a distinctly local pulse. In collaboration with Bali Bazaar Community, the festival opened its doors to independent brands, artisans and micro-enterprises, giving guests the chance to browse locally made fashion, jewelry, handmade crafts and lifestyle pieces alongside their beers.

And because no Bali celebration is complete without a little entertainment, a Classic Balinese Keroncong Band provided a nostalgic soundtrack before a Fire Dance performance turned up the heat. The mix of music, movement, local flavors and cold brews gave the evening its own Kuta character.

“The event was created to bring people together through great beer, delicious food, and vibrant entertainment,” said I Komang Karsana, Food & Beverage Manager at Four Points by Sheraton Bali, Kuta. “It provided the perfect opportunity to connect guests and the local in a fun and engaging setting.”

More than a beer festival, the evening reflected Four Points by Sheraton Bali, Kuta's approach to creating experiences that connect travelers with the culture, culinary traditions and creative community of Kuta. Because sometimes, the best way to get to know a destination is simply to pull up a chair, grab a cold beer and see where the night takes you.
