Grand Hyatt Bali Welcomes Sebastian Fischoeder as New Hotel Manager

A new chapter begins at one of Nusa Dua’s iconic beachfront resorts as Grand Hyatt Bali welcomes Sebastian Fischoeder as its new Hotel Manager, effective 21 September 2026. Bringing more than two decades of international hospitality experience across Asia and the Middle East, Sebastian steps into the role with a background spanning resort operations, food and beverage leadership, and luxury hotel management.
Originally from Germany, Sebastian holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Northwood University and completed Cornell University’s Advanced Hospitality Revenue Management Certificate in 2026. His hospitality career began in 2004 as a Food & Beverage Intern at Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo, before he joined Hyatt Regency Incheon in South Korea, where he spent more than a decade developing his expertise in food and beverage management. In 2016, he became Director of Food & Beverage at Park Hyatt Seoul.
His career subsequently expanded into resort leadership. In 2017, he joined HDC Resort Wonju, progressing through several senior positions, including General Manager, Corporate Resort Division Director and Cluster General Manager. Most recently, he served as Director of Operations at Shebara, part of Red Sea Global Hospitality in Saudi Arabia.

At this family-friendly beachfront resort, Sebastian will bring his international experience to a resort known for its expansive tropical gardens, tranquil lagoons and beachfront setting. With 636 rooms and suites, two villas, multiple swimming pools, diverse dining venues and family-friendly recreational facilities, the property offers a destination for travellers seeking both relaxation and memorable shared experiences.
“I am honored to join the talented team at Grand Hyatt Bali and to become part of such an iconic resort destination,” says Sebastian. “Grand Hyatt Bali has a longstanding reputation for delivering authentic hospitality and memorable guest experiences. I look forward to working alongside our colleagues to further elevate the resort’s offerings while continuing to create unforgettable moments for our guests.”
Beyond his professional pursuits, Sebastian enjoys running and diving, interests that reflect his appreciation for an active lifestyle. His personal philosophy is equally grounded in optimism: “Always stay positive and focus your energy on what you can control, rather than worrying about what you cannot change.”

As he begins this new chapter in Bali, Sebastian’s appointment brings fresh leadership to a resort that continues to balance its established reputation with evolving guest expectations. With a focus on meaningful hospitality and memorable experiences, Grand Hyatt Bali looks ahead to strengthening its position as one of the island’s leading luxury beachfront destinations for families and leisure travellers alike.
