Move, Create, Connect: Wyndham Dreamland Resort Bali Celebrates Wellness Through Mindful Experiences

Wellness is not always about slowing down at a spa or escaping into nature. Sometimes, it is about finding balance through movement, getting creative with your hands and reconnecting with the culture around you. Embracing this philosophy, Wyndham Dreamland Resort Bali celebrated Wellness Month with a special Wellness Day on 29 September 2026, bringing its theme, Move, Create, Connect, to life through a series of mindful experiences.

Set against the resort’s lush surroundings in Pecatu, the programme brought together female team members, in-house guests and media partners for a day dedicated to physical well-being, creative self-care and Balinese cultural appreciation. It also reflected Wyndham’s Empower and Embrace Women programme, which supports women’s well-being, confidence, personal growth and meaningful connections.

The day began with an outdoor Mat Pilates session, inviting female associates and in-house guests to focus on strength, flexibility, balance and body awareness. Surrounded by greenery, participants were encouraged to move with intention, making the morning session a refreshing start to the wellness journey.

Next, the experience shifted from movement to mindful creativity at the Yoga Deck of Tirta SPA, the resort’s dedicated spa venue. Here, media partners and in-house guests took part in a hands-on body scrub-making session, learning to create their own self-care products. Beyond the practical activity, the workshop offered an opportunity to slow down, enjoy the creative process and appreciate the simple pleasure of making something by hand.

The final experience brought guests into the garden beside the resort lobby for a traditional canang-making session. An important part of daily Balinese cultural practice, canang making introduced participants to local traditions and the values of gratitude, balance and harmony. It also offered a meaningful way to connect with the island beyond its landscapes, through the cultural practices that shape everyday life.

Together, the three activities captured the essence of Move, Create, Connect: moving the body with awareness, nurturing creativity through hands-on experiences and building deeper connections with oneself, others and the surrounding culture.

“Through this Wellness Day, we wanted to create an experience that goes beyond physical wellness. ‘Move, Create, Connect’ reflects our belief that well-being is about finding balance between caring for our bodies, nurturing creativity, and building meaningful connections,” says Avinanditha, Rooms Division Manager at Wyndham Dreamland Resort Bali.

Located among the verdant hills of Uluwatu, Wyndham Dreamland Resort Bali offers a tranquil setting for leisure travellers, with tropical gardens, swimming pools, wellness facilities at Tirta Spa by Akarasa & Wellness Centre, and panoramic views of the Indian Ocean. Through initiatives such as Wellness Day, the resort continues to explore ways to make well-being a more meaningful part of everyday life.

Ultimately, the celebration serves as a reminder that wellness can take many forms. Whether through a morning movement session, a creative self-care ritual or learning a traditional Balinese craft, sometimes the most rewarding way to recharge is to move with intention, create with purpose and connect with meaning.
