Azka Alfi's 'RASA' Exhibition at Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach Showcases

Art and sport may seem like two different worlds, but at Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach, they come together in a celebration of creativity, culture, and human emotion. This season, the design-led beachfront resort invites guests and visitors alike to experience "RASA: When the World Plays," an exclusive solo exhibition by Indonesian football illustrator Azka Alfi, presented in collaboration with adidas Indonesia.
Officially launched on 13 June 2026, the exhibition transforms the hotel's Neighborhood Gallery into an immersive showcase of digital illustrations inspired by the universal language of football. Timed to coincide with the excitement of the global football season, Azka's latest body of work explores the meaning of rasa—the Indonesian concept of feeling, emotion, intuition, and connection—through expressive portraits of legendary football figures wearing the newest adidas national team jerseys. The collection features six countries: Argentina, Spain, Mexico, Germany, Japan, and Italy, each brought to life through Azka's signature abstract visual style.

More than celebrating athletic icons, the exhibition reflects on the stories carried by every jersey. Each illustration captures moments of triumph, heartbreak, national pride, and collective memory, inviting viewers to look beyond the game itself and appreciate football as a powerful expression of identity and culture.
The setting plays an equally important role in the experience. Known for drawing inspiration from the surrounding neighbourhood, Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach has transformed its open-air lobby into a vibrant gallery where contemporary digital art meets thoughtful storytelling. Interactive displays pair Azka's illustrations with narratives exploring the evolution of football aesthetics and international identity, encouraging visitors to slow down, reflect, and engage with the artwork on a deeper level.

The collaboration also highlights adidas Indonesia's ongoing support for local creatives, demonstrating how sport can extend beyond competition to inspire artistic expression. For Hotel Indigo, the exhibition continues its commitment to serving as a platform for cultural discovery, connecting guests with the people, stories, and creativity that shape Bali's vibrant community.
While the exclusive opening event welcomed invited guests for an intimate artist-led walkthrough, the exhibition itself remains open to the public until 19 July 2026. Whether you're a football enthusiast, an art lover, or simply looking for an inspiring way to spend an afternoon in Seminyak, "RASA: When the World Plays" offers a thoughtful reminder that the most meaningful stories often live at the intersection of passion, culture, and creativity.
